In 2016, Todd Heins established Blue Wave Pool Supplies following 22 years in retail and service management. With a clear mission, he sought to equip customers with the necessary tools and knowledge to properly care for their pools. Todd has always dreamed of a business that combines honesty, education, and exceptional customer service. Under his leadership, Blue Wave has earned a reputation as Memphis’s premier pool and spa care store.

Todd was inspired to open Blue Wave Pool Supplies because there is a lot of misinformation in the pool industry. He wants his customers to have a place where they can feel confident that those assisting them possess the expertise and knowledge to guide them with all their pool needs. It’s also important to him that his clients never feel taken advantage of and leave every experience at Blue Wave knowing more about their pool than when they first walked in. 

Todd has ambitious plans for Blue Wave, including expanding to new locations. With our win as the Best Pool and Spa Company in 2018, we think it’s meant to be! This was a significant milestone in Todd’s career, as well as Blue Wave’s opening day in 2016.

When Todd isn’t helping the store, he loves his fitness routine, and oversees a varied portfolio of properties. During his free time, he loves to spend time with his wife and their two dogs.
